It’s March! It was a fabulous February filled with love and encouragement.
It’s time to start another scripture reading/writing plan.
This month’s theme is the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount is the greatest sermon ever preached. It contains many well-known passages of scriptures that we’ve come to love.
But sometimes, things can become too familiar. So much so that we no longer look deeply into it, supposing that we know it well. We don’t want to do that with our Savior’s longest message recorded in scripture.
The Word of God is living, so every word of scripture is still relevant and as powerful today as the day it was spoken and written.
The Sermon on the Mount is packed with wisdom for Christian living. As disciples of Christ, these words are essential to kingdom living.
This month, we will write through each scripture in the Sermon of the Mount. As you read, write, and pore over these scriptures, let them speak to you anew. If you haven’t personally encountered these scriptures in quite some time, let them wash over you again. And if you’ve never read, or written through these three chapters, jump in; you will not be disappointed. Either way, get ready for a life-changing experience with your Savior!
This month you will encounter these precious truths:
- The Beatitudes Matthew 5:3-12
- Jesus’ teachings on
- Anxiety (Mt 6:25-34)
- Prayer Matt. 6:5-15
- Fasting Matt. 6:16-18
- Enemies and revenge Matt. 5:38-48
- The Golden Rule Matt. 7:23
- Laying up Treasure in Heaven Matt 6:19-24
Join us as we Embrace the Word. Let these teachings of our Savior, Jesus, be written on your heart. Embrace the Word and let the Word embrace you. And, as always, I would love to hear from you. I enjoy praying with you and hearing your testimonies of how God’s Word is blessing your lives.

Remember, The Word W.O.R.K.S. We are walking in Wholeness, Obedience, Righteousness, and Kingdom Success through the Word of God.
You may have noticed the name change from Write the Word to Embrace the Word. Another organization has trademarked the former name. In the interest of doing business in a way that reflects godliness, we have changed the name. The monthly reading/writing plans will continue in the same manner under a new name.
