Write the Word February 2022 (w/ freebie)
Hello Family!
It’s already February! January has flown by, and we are in the second month of 2022.
If you’ve joined us for January’s Write the Word and Another Note, we discovered some truths in the Word that encourage and admonish us to lead the way in promoting love and unity in the body of Christ. We ended with Paul’s admonishment not to grieve the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:30).
This reminds me of David’s words in Psalms: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)
This, like the admonishments we studied in Ephesians 4, do not just happen. It takes submission to God’s Word, obedience to the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit, and purposeful intentionality to show God’s love to one another.
That’s why I am so excited about this month’s scripture writing theme: Love God, Love People.
If you’ve been around for a while, you know that we focus on LOVE in the month of February. I want us to REALLY take God’s Word to heart and apply it this time around. Yes, Valentine’s day is in February, but we are focusing on sharing love and encouragement this month more so because PEOPLE NEED IT! There are so many who are hurting, confused, and lonely right now. We know that the HEALING, REDEEMING, RESTORING love of God is just what they need. And God has chosen YOU to be a vessel of that love.
So, this month, I challenge you to encourage someone with God’s love in a special intentional way each day in February. It’s a LOVE AND ENCOURAGEMENT Challenge, and I’ll be joining you!
