Write the Word-March 2021 “God Will Take Care of You”

It’s that time again!  It’s time to WRITE THE WORD.

This month’s theme is “God Will Take Care of You.” This simple yet profound sentiment has carried me through all the years of my life.  I remember growing up singing “be not dismayed, whatever betide/God will take care of you/Beneath His wings of love abide/God will take care of you.”  Before I even knew what betide meant, the song gave me a sweet reminder that no matter what comes my way, I’ll be taken care of.

So many things come at us so fast it sometimes leaves us exasperated! Worry and fear are more real than ever. We cannot, however, be consumed by fear and plagued by anxiety.  We can take refuge in the loving kindness and tender care of our Heavenly Father. We should be secure in the Father’s love, care, and providence for us. We need to get this into our head and in our hearts. No matter the event, no matter how difficult the challenge, whatever betide God will take care of you.

This month, we will write beautiful truths from scripture that reassure us of the Father’s love and care.  We will write scriptures like:
from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:9-10

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
