Family! It’s April. It’s spring. It’s time to celebrate the beauty of the newness of life. Flowers are blooming, new baby animals and being born–new life is everywhere!
It is also a beautiful time to celebrate the fact that we walk in the newness of life! Yes, we have new life in Christ Jesus, our beautiful Savior. This is the season when believers celebrate the greatest event in history–the resurrection of Jesus!
The resurrection of Christ is the most powerful evidence of our faith. The resurrection is proof that Jesus is more than just a mere man; He is the true and LIVING Son of God. It proves He has the power to take away our sins. It proves that the story did not end at Calvary.
Jesus rose, and He lives!
Because Jesus rose, we now have hope! Not only have we been raised together with Him now (an accomplished fact), the resurrection gives us the hope that we, too, will one day be raised and forever be with our Lord! Yes, have a glorious hope, the promise of new life–resurrection life in Christ! As Jesus promised, “Because I live, you will also live” (John 14:19b).
Join us in celebrating NEW LIFE with this month’s Embrace the Word theme: Jesus Rose, and He lives!
We will start with the events leading up to Resurrection Day. Then we will read, write, and study scriptures centered around the Lord’s resurrection and the living hope we have in Him.
Join us this month and let Embrace the Word be a part of your resurrection season celebration. Share with a friend, your women’s ministry, or small group. You can join us in the Sparrow’s Song Facebook Group here and follow us on Instagram for more content.
I look forward to hearing from you as we EMBRACE God’s Word together!
Keep those messages coming. I do read and respond to every one (though it may take me a couple of days)! Happy Resurrection Season!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13
