Embrace the Word ~ July 2024: Summer in the Psalms Week 3
Hello Family!
There is nothing too hard for God! Power belongs to God! This is the central message we explored this past week in Psalm 62. Our Great God is omnipotent. He has all-power!
As Week Three of the ETW “Summer in the Psalms: Bold Trust” comes to a close, let’s anchor ourselves in the unshakable truth that God’s power is unparalleled. He is not intimidated by anything, and we can confidently trust in His power.

We learn so much from David in Psalm 62. We learn to:
- Proclaims our bold trust in the power and sovereignty of God. Make a declaration of who God is to you. “God is my rock and salvation.” He is the source of our ultimate protection, and strength comes from Him.
- Trust God alone. David warns against placing trust in human strength or material wealth. He highlights the fleeting nature of earthly power and riches. Only God possesses the true power to provide lasting security and deliverance.
- Testify of God’s power and encourage others to do the same. The psalm concludes with a resounding declaration of confidence in God’s ability to shield and sustain His people. It is a call to praise Him for His faithfulness and steadfast love.
As we reflect on David’s words, let us be encouraged to place our trust wholly in the Lord. In times of uncertainty or adversity, may we turn to God as our rock and salvation, finding refuge in Him. Remember that our strength comes from Him alone, and He is our ultimate source of protection.
May we be reminded of the power and goodness of our God, and may our hearts be filled with gratitude and praise for His unmatched strength and power in our lives.
This week, we are diving into Psalm 91! This familiar text is one that we should revisit again and again because it offers so much comfort, especially in today’s times.
