January 2025 James: A Faith That Works Week 1
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you still celebrating all of God’s goodness in 2024! I think we can all agree that God is good!
I am excited to welcome both old and new friends to our new Embrace the Word Study, James: A Faith That Works.
In today’s society, having authentic faith is crucial for enduring trials and overcoming temptations. The book of James provides invaluable wisdom on how to live for God, even in a world that often opposes Him.
James is all about practical Christian living, urging believers to demonstrate their faith through concrete actions and good works. Genuine faith should be accompanied by good works of righteousness and obedience. James is like a wake-up call, admonishing the Church to live out the teachings of Jesus every day. Even in the face of trials and temptations, we can live righteously because we have–A Faith that Works!
As always, there are many ways you can engage with this study. You can:
