Welcome to the final days of the Embrace the Word study — Hope in Every Season: A 30-Day Journey Through the Story of Joseph. What a great time I have had studying with each of you!

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil. Hebrews 6:19
As we near the end of our study through Joseph’s story, Hebrews 6:19 gives a powerful image of hope—a hope that anchors us firmly in the midst of life’s storms. An anchor holds a ship steady, preventing it from drifting amid raging seas. Similarly, our hope in God keeps our souls secure, steadying us when challenges threaten to overwhelm us.
Throughout Joseph’s journey, we’ve seen this hope in action. Joseph’s unwavering trust in God’s sovereign plan, even when he couldn’t see the whole picture, anchored him firmly. His hope was not passive but active, rooted in God’s faithfulness and promises.
This verse reminds us that the hope we have is reliable and sure because it is grounded in the character of Jesus Himself. No matter what seasons we face—waiting, suffering, or joy—our hope in God’s unchanging love and purpose keeps us.
As we close this study, may you be encouraged to hold unswervingly to the hope you profess (Hebrews 10:23). Let it anchor your soul, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.
