Love God love people week

I hope you are all safe and warm as we enter this new month.

Welcome to a new month of Embracing the Word. Our theme for February is “Love God, Love People,” focusing on Jesus’s words in Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… and love your neighbor as yourself.”

I want to share with you that while there is a Reading and Writing plan available for February, there will be no new monthly devotional guide this month.

This pause is due to the passing of my father—who was not only my natural father, but also my spiritual father. He was the person I went to with my questions about the Bible, faith, and life, and I’m still processing the reality of his not being here.

Right now, I’m allowing myself the time and space to grieve, heal, and sit with God in this very tender season. I humbly ask for your prayers, sympathy, and understanding as I navigate this loss.

Thank you for your continued love, grace, and support. It truly means more to me than I can put into words.

I’ll be back in March with a full devotional guide. In the meantime, I want to make sure you still have resources to lean on. If you would like a copy of a past February Devotional Guide—2025’s “Matters of the Heart” or 2024’s “Bold Love”—please simply reply to this email, and I will be happy to send it to you.

Let’s continue to love God and love one another well this month.

With love and gratitude,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope. —Romans 15:13

Your friend in the journey,

Remember: The Word W.O.R.K.S. We are walking in Wholeness, Obedience, Righteousness, and Kingdom Success through the Word of God.
