Running With Endurance: A Study of Hebrews 11 & 12 Week 5
Hello, Family—
We’ve reached the end of our study, Running With Endurance: A Study of Hebrews 11 & 12. I pray you will grow an enduring faith that leans on God through every trial, runs the race with steadfast hope, and encourages others along the way.
(Find the FREE Devotional Guide linked at the end of this email.)
God’s will and timing are perfect. He seeded this message in my heart with His omniscience and perfect timing before I’d need it. Yesterday my father went home to be with the Lord. He had been ill for a long time and now is completely healed and in the presence of the Lord. He was a giant in my life—both naturally and spiritually—serving as my pastor, mentor, and example.
When I opened my eyes this morning, it felt like waking from a bad dream. In my quiet time I came with hurt, sorrow, and many questions, but I closed that time with my eyes refocused on Jesus. I know my father is part of the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us and who modeled how to run well.
As my father’s daughter, and as a daughter of my Father in heaven, I have no other choice but to trust and to run.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith 2 Timothy 4:7.

I’m hurting, but I’m running.
