Seeds of Gratitude – Thanks and Giving 2025: Week 5
With just a few days left in November, I want to take this time to express my gratitude to everyone in the Sparrow’s Song Family. I thank God for each of you! Your encouraging messages truly bless my heart and inspire me to “spur one another on to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24).

As we conclude, let’s revisit one of the most well-known scriptures about thankfulness. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 offers a powerful message from the Apostle Paul to the believers in Thessalonica. In these verses, Paul provides practical yet profound guidance on how to live a life filled with faith and gratitude.
“Rejoice always” highlights the necessity of maintaining joy, regardless of circumstances. It encourages us to discover happiness in our faith, relationships, and the blessings of life.
“Pray continually” highlights the importance of maintaining a constant connection with God through prayer. It encourages us to develop a prayerful lifestyle, seeking God’s guidance, strength, and presence in every aspect of our lives.
“Giving thanks in all circumstances” highlights the transformative power of gratitude. It challenges us to express thankfulness even during difficult times. Recognizing that a grateful heart can change our perspective encourages us to rely completely on God.
Joy, prayer, and gratitude are powerful aspects of a believer’s life. These benefits flow from our relationship with Jesus. When we remain connected to Him and His love, we can sustain a spirit of joy, engage in persistent prayer, and express thankfulness in every situation, knowing that this is God’s will for our lives.
