Standing on the Word 9/7/20

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in Your Word. Psalm 119:114

This scripture is extremely important especially during times like these.  Times where it seems as danger and trouble are lurking around each corner, and times where the enemy seems to mount daily attacks on the Children of God. God promises us in His Word that He is our refuge. It is in Him where we can be safe from danger and all sorts of trouble. No matter what the situation or the adversary, God is faithful and has proven time and time again that He can and He will be our refuge – all we have to do is abide in Him!  

God’s word also tells us that He is our shield. He promises us that He will provide protection as we encounter the attacks from the enemy. No matter what the enemy tries to attack us with, we can rest in the fact that God is our shield and we have protection in Him.

Yes, we are in trying times, but doesn’t it feel great to know that our Father God loves us and still cares so deeply for us? He is our REFUGE and our SHIELD and that is something I can definitely stand on.
