If you are in the U.S. (like me), you’ve probably been experiencing some up and down weather! Here in VA, the weather has been like a rollercoaster! I pray that you are all safe, sheltered, and warm (or cool depending on where you are 😊)
Though the weather may fluctuate, I pray that your faith is BOLD and unwavering. Much like the weather, life has ups and downs, but your faith rooted and firmly planted on the Rock, Jesus Christ our Savior.
We are entering week three of our Embrace the Word study, Living With Bold Faith. In week two, we explored BOLD prayers. We took a close look at Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Hebrews 4:16 lets us know that we can boldly and fearlessly come before God, knowing that He offers mercy and grace to help us in our times of difficulty and need. It emphasizes the assurance of God’s unwavering love and willingness to help those who seek Him.
We can come boldly because of Jesus! He is our compassionate High Priest who sympathizes with our weakness and flaws. We have an open invitation to approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that the Father welcomes us with grace and mercy. I hope you feel encouraged to cast aside shame, fear, and inhibitions, and to instead approach God with assurance, trust, and boldness
Next week we will explore being Bold and Unashamed. When we live with BOLD faith, we will let go of all the things that hinder us from sharing the gospel. We have been entrusted with the Good News! Let’s BOLDLY share it!
