Hello family,

Welcome to Week Two of Embrace the Word: Running With Endurance — our study through Hebrews 11 and 12.

(Link to the FREE Devotional Guide at the end of this email)

As we press on together, we’re reminded that endurance isn’t meant to be lived in isolation. The faithful ones who’ve gone before us serve as real examples: their trust, struggles, and steady hope show what persevering faith looks like in everyday life.

This week we’ll continue in the Faith Heroes “Hall of Faith,” focusing on Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, and Jacob. We’ll read their stories, note how they trusted God amid uncertainty, and pull out practical lessons to strengthen our own walk. Let their lives encourage you when the road feels long and let their faith sharpen your resolve.

Keep Jesus as our ultimate example of enduring faith—His life, obedience, and victory guide us as we run.

In the devotional guide, we look a little deeper into Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 9:24–27. Here, we are reminded that our faith requires discipline and intentionality: we run with purpose, exercise self‑control, and aim to finish well. As you and study this week ask yourself:

What habits will help me train my heart to run with endurance?

What tangible steps can I take to develop a consistent practice of spiritual disciplines, such as prayer and study?

What does it mean for me to run this race with joy, regardless of the challenges I face?

How can I cultivate a mindset focused on long-term growth rather than immediate results?

As we lace up for another week of this endurance race, let’s pray for one another and keep our eyes on the Christ who will lead us to a strong finish in Him!
